The Shift to Simplicity:
A clear change in vogue from architectural style in homes to trend in the fashion industry about clothing highlight the question about the recent change towards a more comfortable and “chill” style.
While a more body fit jumpsuit or Bell bottom jeans were major trend setters in the last century, the 20th century in this past decade has seen the change towards a more comfortable and lose clothing, fashion.
The norms for what should be worn by a man and a woman have drastically changed.
This has affected Fashion in a way that ladies do not fear wearing clothes that are loose and not just “dresses and skirts”. Pants and shirts as well as three pieces are rocked by ladies. This trend is mostly set from the western countries and many women from across the globe are inspired. Jewellery pieces like bold gold chains and lightweight earrings go very well with these “caz” outfits.
The rise of women in the corporate world has also been a major factor in the change. As mentioned previously, loose pants and fitted shirts along with short coats are worn which look beautiful and chic. The rise in sales of Basketball shorts and oversized shirts show that the feeling of comfort has taken utmost precedence in the world of fashion.
